This week’s SmackDown begins with Michael Cole and Triple H in the ring. Cole asks Triple H his thoughts on Big Show being fired by Stephanie McMahon and wrecking havoc on Monday Night RAW. Triple H says he hopes that Big Show is proud of himself. Big Show’s actions on Monday night resulted in six people being fired: two in IT, three in production, and the woman who set up the satellite feed.
Cole then asks Triple H about Sunday’s Hell In A Cell WWE World Heavyweight Championship match. Triple H says that just like everyone else, he too can’t wait for Cena’s return from injury. He says he knows how it feels to come back from a devastating injury, and he knows what Cena has gone through to come back early.
Match One - Jimmy and Jey Uso vs. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper w/ Bray Wyatt

Rowan and Harper tried taking control of the match right from the start. Rowan took Jey down with a clothesline. Rowan punched him down in the corner before tagging Harper in. Harper whipped Rowan into Jey before Rowan whipped Jey into a big boot from Harper. Jey tagged in Jimmy, who came off the top rope to take Harper down with a diving shoulder block.
The Miz was right outside the ring and as soon as Bray Wyatt rose from his seat, Miz big boots him. In the ring, the Usos drop Harper with a double superkick for the win.
Winner: Jimmy and Jey Uso
Match Two - Nikki Bella w/ Brie Bella vs. AJ Lee w/ Tamina Snuka
Nikki Bella’s first match since her shin injury. Nikki takes AJ down with a drop-toe-hold before hitting a Thesz Press. Nikki bounces AJ’s head off the canvas before AJ escapes the ring and hides behind Tamina.
Tamina challenges Nikki to get out of the ring, but she doesn’t go for it. AJ snaps Nikki off the top rope and covers for a two count. AJ chokes her on the ropes before hitting a neckbreaker for a one count. Nikki slings AJ off and hits a pair of clotheslines. Nikki elbows her in the face before hitting a dropkick.
Brie thinks Tamina is going to make a move on Nikki and tries to stop her. Tamina woman-handles her before sending her headfirst into the steel steps! In the ring, AJ applies the Black Widow to Nikki for the submission victory.
Winner: AJ Lee w/ Tamina Snuka
Match Three - Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre w/ Jinder Mahal vs. Los Matadores w/ El Torito
Fernando started the match against Drew McIntyre. McIntyre kicks and clubs him down before sending him to the ropes. Fernando tried getting back at McIntyre with a hurricanrana, but the latter breaks out and tags in Heath Slater.
McIntyre is tagged back in, and they hit a double-team springboard suplex. McIntyre applies an arm bar, but Fernando soon fights up. McIntyre knees him, but Fernando soon sidesteps him and tags in Diego.
Diego takes McIntyre down with a springboard cross-body. Fernando tags in as Diego elbows McIntyre. Fernando jumps over McIntyre and grabs him. They then drop McIntyre with a double-team reverse STO for the win.
Winner: Los Matadores w/ El Torito
Match Four - Ryback and Paul Heyman vs. CM Skunk
Ryback starts by sizing up Skunk. Skunk kicks and punches him, but Ryback soon takes him down and powers him to the corner.Ryback takes Skunk down with a big meat hook clothesline before crushing him with the Shell Shock. Ryback says, “The kill is yours, Paul.” Heyman then puts his foot on Skunk’s face for the pinfall.
Winner: Ryback and Paul Heyman
Match Five - The Great Khali w/ Hornswoggle and Natalya vs. Fandango w/ Summer Rae
Pretty standard Khali match, where he gets most of the offense. Summer Rae eventually gets on the apron and Natalya pulls her off. Slap from Summer Rae and the two brawl. Brain chop to Fandango as Khali/Natalya get the better of them.
No Contest
Match Six – Main Event - Daniel Bryan, Big E Langston, Cody Rhodes, and Goldust vs. The Shield and Randy Orton
Typical eight-man tag team match. The Shield worked over Cody for a long time. Bryan eventually got the tag and started cleaning house. Bryan gets the pin over Orton for the win.
