Matt Riddle vs. Baron Corbin vs. Jey Uso vs. Sheamus - Fatal Four-Way match to determine the No.1 Contender for the Universal title on SmackDown

Uso got a superkick in early on SmackDown and sent Corbin outside before Sheamus cleared the ring. Corbin and Sheamus were decimating Riddle in the ring before Uso broke up Corbin's pin attempt. Sheamus and Corbin were working on Riddle and Jey respectively before Sheamus turned on Corbin.

Riddle was back in after a break on SmackDown and almost pinned Sheamus off an Exploder Suplex before locking in the triangle. Sheamus recovered and locked in the cloverleaf but Uso broke it up. Jey superkicked all three men in the ring before wiping out Sheamus and Riddle who had allied against Corbin.

A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.

King Corbin took the Brogue Kick and Sheamus took the Floating Bro but Uso came in with the Splash on Riddle and got the win on SmackDown.

Result: Jey Uso won the Fatal Four-Way match and is the No.1 Contender for the Universal title

Jey was excited about the win and was ready to face his cousin Roman Reigns at Clash of Champions!

Tonight's SmackDown was had a lot of things happening; Bayley turned on Banks and Big E was taken out before his big match. Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman made a statement while Baszler and Jax had their first title defense.
