Cabrera signed his first record deal almost two decades before he met Alexa Bliss

Ryan Cabrera's popularity has risen since dating Alexa Bliss. However, it appears that before he was in a relationship the former WWE Women's Champion, Cabrera was already making waves on the music scene.

Cabrera has been taking the music industry by storm since the age of 19, when the former Rubix Groove lead singer impressed Atlantic Records. Ahead of signing with the record back in 2001, Cabrera played with Rubix Groove and the group opened for the likes of Cheap Trick and Third Eye Blind.

It was the lead singer who composed three of the main songs on their album and because the studio engineer was so impressed, he allowed Cabrera to record a full-length album, which was called Elm St.

Cabrera's debut single "On The Way Down" was released on American Radio back in 2004 and peaked at No. 15 in the Billboard Hot 100. His second single "Take it all away", which was released later that same year, peaked at No. 8 and sold over 66,000 copies in its first week.

It's worth noting that Alexa Bliss was just ten years old when Cabrera signed his first record label.
