WWE Superstar Damian Priest has maintained his dominance as a singles star despite his exit from The Judgment Day. However, his former faction member, Finn Balor, is still causing problems for him. While The Punisher stands alone right now, the company has recently hinted that Dominik Mysterio could turn face and reunite with him.
Dirty Dom debuted as a babyface in the Stamford-based promotion, fighting alongside his father, Rey Mysterio. At the 2022 Clash at the Castle, Mysterio betrayed his dad, turning heel for the first time, and is one of the top heels in the company today. However, Finn Balor has been causing many problems in The Judgment Day lately.
Dominik Mysterio hasn’t deemed much of a threat in the ring. However, he has been improving his wrestling ability and sharpening his edge against big RAW stars. With some help from his faction members, he even defeated Damian Priest in a singles match. While this boosted Dom’s confidence, it also put him on Balor’s radar, who has been constantly trying to put him down ever since.
Additionally, Balor has started to put Liv Morgan down since she confronted him for his actions and is Dominik Mysterio's on-screen girlfriend.

While Balor sees himself as in charge of the group, Dominik Mysterio may not want to work as his underling. Thus, he may take the help of Damian Priest, who also wants to get back at The Prince for costing him the World Heavyweight title a second time at Survivor Series. However, all of this is speculation as of now.
Finn Balor gave Dominik Mysterio another reason to team up with Damian Priest
This week on RAW, Dirty Dom faced Gunther in a singles match. While Finn Balor entered the ring to attack the World Champion, he didn’t do so to help Dominik Mysterio. Instead, he tried to make a statement to both Dom and The Ring General. He even taunted Mysterio by saying, "Watch and learn, kid,” before demolishing Gunther with three Coup de Grace.
All this while, Dirty Dom was left battered in the corner of the ring, and the former Universal Champion didn’t even offer him a hand. He just looked down on him and exited the ring.
Thus, Balor has shown that he only works for himself. Even Adam Pearce pointed out Balor’s greed after listening to his demands to get a title shot against Gunther. With Damian Priest’s focus back on his former teammate, it will be interesting to see if Dom allies with The Punisher.
