WWE Superstar Odyssey Jones finally made his main roster debut during the latest episode of Monday Night RAW. He came out to help The New Day during their tag team match against The Final Testament, taking out Karrion Kross and his allies.

Later in the show, Odyssey revealed that he had spoken with Kofi Kingston last week, which led to his assistance in The New Day's battle against The Final Testament. This new alliance could potentially force Xavier Woods to turn heel down the line.

During the backstage segment, it was clear that Woods was unaware of this conversation between Kofi and the 30-year-old star. He did not look pleased about the situation. For weeks, Karrion Kross has been trying to convince Woods to leave The New Day and join The Final Testament.

Woods may begin to feel that Kross is right and that Kofi Kingston doesn’t value him as much, especially with Odyssey Jones now being potentially added to The New Day. This could lead to Woods deciding to turn heel and leave the group.

Former WWE host questions company's investment in The Final Testament

The Authors of Pain, alongside Paul Ellering, returned to WWE at the beginning of 2024 and aligned themselves with Karrion Kross to form The Final Testament. However, the group has had a lackluster run so far, struggling to establish themselves as a top stable despite several opportunities.

In a recent episode of his podcast, Matt Camp, the former RAW Talk host, questioned the company's significant investment in The Final Testament. He expressed disbelief at the backing given to a group of five people who are currently positioned in the low mid-card.

"You can't sell me that that group's ever going to make. Think of how much money is invested in that group. Two guys are a tag team, two managers, and [Karrion] Kross. That act is five people. You can't tell me more than 2% of a crowd is going to see that and that's a high number. That is an unbelievable amount invested in a low mid-card group."
