The WWE Money in the Bank PLE is being eagerly awaited by fans all around the world. Taking place in Toronto, Ontario, fans are ready to witness the winners of the prestigious contracts that will keep looming over the heads of existing champs. Notably, the PLE currently doesn’t feature a superstar whose absence has created quite a bit of controversy. But, there’s a chance that Triple H may try to give her a big push.
Natalya has been in a tug-of-war with the WWE management regarding her contract. Despite both parties being in conversation for weeks, Nattie hasn’t re-signed with the Stamford-based promotion so far. Moreover, she has simply been dropped off television just when she started to win her matches once again. This has angered several of her fans.
As a result, The Queen of Harts isn’t part of the golden PLE. However, this may put more pressure on the management, especially when the event is being held in Nattie’s home country of Canada. Considering this, The Game may offer her a place in the MITB ladder match.
This could be achieved via either a last-minute ambush or making her feud with the victor of the ladder match. But, while fans want to see Natalya back on top, an MITB contestant thinks that Natalya has received a fair share of opportunities from WWE already.
Chelsea Green comments on Natalya’s WWE run
SmackDown Superstar Chelsea Green is one of the favorites for winning the 2024 Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. The Hot Mess has gained immense popularity with fans in a very short time and looks to capitalize on it with her first major victory.
Green recently appeared for an interview with Gorilla Position last month where she was asked about Natalya and how she is being overlooked these days. Speaking about it, Green said that she didn’t agree with this notion.
“[Nattie Niedhart?] Iconic. Is she overlooked in WWE? No, because she's had a million opportunities. Like, she's been doing this for 20 years. She's had every opportunity. She's held every title. She's won the Guinness Book of World Records, she has literally, she did the first match in Saudi Arabia. She did the first match on NXT Underground. Like, she's done amazing things. So, she's not overlooked because in years to come, she'll be in the Hall of Fame," she said. [4:50 - 5:15]
Thus, while Nattie’s fans, especially the ones from Canada feel their Queen of Harts is being snubbed, another Canadian Superstar disagrees with them. It would be interesting to see if Triple H does give Natalya a chance, or uses this interview of Green to pit Nattie against her.
