As per reports, Shayna Baszler could have won both the WWE Royal Rumble and the Money in the Bank ladder matches before last-minute changes. Charlotte Flair won at Royal Rumble, while Asuka won at Money in the Bank.

ngs just haven't gone Baszler's way this year. Most recently, reports have stated that McMahon has given up on Baszler - and that isn't a good omen for the former NXT Women's champion.

Vince McMahon has always had his doubts about Baszler as the top heel in the division. However, WWE has still protected Baszler. It's also noted that she'd be in the title picture this year.

In Lynch and Charlotte's absence, WWE is short of legitimate contenders on Raw. It's why Sasha Banks (SmackDown) is challenging Asuka for the Raw Women's Championship. Due to the dearth of legitimate contenders for the title, WWE will need newer stars eventually. In the present Raw roster, Baszler is their best bet.

WWE should put the title on the Queen of Spades sometime this year, or it'll risk losing a very believable top-tier talent.
