Sting made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 31
Sting was a legend in WCW and there were rumors for a number of months back in 2014 that 'The Icon' was set to make the switch over to WWE after a lengthy spell in Impact Wrestling.

These rumors paid off at Survivor Series when Sting made his first appearance and cost The Authority their match and their job when he interfered in the match and attacked Triple H.

This then led to Sting taking on the WWE COO at WrestleMania 31 where members of the NWO and DX were able to return and become part of the match before Triple H picked up the win. Sting only went on to have a few matches in WWE after this with his last one taking place at Night of Champions later that year when he was defeated by Seth Rollins in his quest to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
