Ziggler was trying to leave the cage early on but Kofi closed the door on him. Kofi himself tried climbing out but Ziggler foiled his attempts. Dolph threw the champ into the cage wall off the turnbuckles and grazed his face across the steel frame. Dolph kept up the offense before Kofi finally sent him into the steel.

Ziggler was sent into the support beams, face first before Kofi started climbing again. Ziggler stopped him in time and Kofi hit a kick instead of escaping. Both men were on the cage wall and fell back inside after sparring up there. Kofi hit the SOS but Dolph kicked out.
