One look at this tandem and it's all too clear that it is not meant to last for a long time. Alexa Bliss is still pretty much a heel whereas Nikki Cross is supremely innocent, naive, and being manipulated by Little Miss Bliss.
Let us assume that Nikki Cross helps Alexa Bliss in becoming the SmackDown Women's Champion. At which point, Bliss will realize that she does not need Nikki Cross anymore and could potentially turn on her sparking off a brand new rivalry.

Honestly, this is the kind of push that Nikki Cross needs especially since her lunatic character is no more and she needs some compelling storyline for the audience to sink their teeth into. Alexa Bliss is already an established star so a feud with her could work, I assume.
