WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin has stated that he thinks he was better than Hulk Hogan.
The Texas Rattlesnake, who was the face of the Attitude Era, claimed that he was more instrumental than WWE’s biggest star of the 80’s.
Talking to 105.3 The Fan, which is a radio station of Texas, Austin was asked who the bigger “legend” was — himself, or Hogan?

“If you’re talking to me, it’s going to be Stone Cold Steve Austin,” he replied. “If you guys are talking to Hulk, it’s going to be him.”
“I respect Hulk Hogan because his career lasted some 30 odd years,” Austin said. “I think I lasted about 15, but during my peak years, I took the business to a height it never seen before.”
Austin then went on to state how Hogan’s name has become synonymous with the WWE and he respects him for that.
“When you say to anybody off the street, ‘Hey, do you know anything about pro wrestling?’ They’ll say, ‘Yeah, wasn’t that guy Hulk Hogan a pro wrestler?’ His name might come to your mind before mine, so I give that guy all due respect. He had a tremendous run.”
Many of the other WWE personals have hailed Austin as the greatest WWE superstar ever. CM Punk has said that Austin beats Hogan by a landslide while CEO Vince McMahon called him “the biggest superstar in WWE history.”
