SummerSlam 2013 is shaping up pretty well and seems like it is going to live up to the expectation of being the biggest PPV of the summer. With a lot of storylines to address, WWE looks all set to put them into the main card.
But there are a few wrestlers who despite being in a strong feud, aren’t looked forward to mainly because they are highly undervalued.
With the entire attention shifting to the top two matches of the night, these few wrestlers might end up surprising most of us by the end of the PPV.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
They are in the midst of an excellent feud that is shaping up to be their platform to the top. Both these wrestlers have been extremely good in their promos and have given us improved performances inside the ring.
While their match will most likely have the Money in the Bank briefcase on the line, both these wrestlers should give us one of the best performances of the night.
Also, apart from their match, there is also the possibility of the winner cashing in on the new World Champion which makes their possibility of being the star of the show all the more high.
2. Big E Langston
When you look at this guy’s size, you wouldn’t expect him to be able to work a good match with his opponents. But in recent matches that he has been put against, Big E has shown just what he can do despite his size.
His match against Ziggler was turning out to be good if not for the interruption and showed glimpses of what we might see at SummerSlam. As far as I see it, we can expect Big E to give is a performance that none would have expected of him.
3. The Usos
While many of us do not consider them a worthy opponent for the Shield, I believe the contrary. The Usos have a pretty bad gimmick in the WWE, but as far as their talent to wrestle is concerned, they are the best tag team to go against the Shield.
Though we cannot expect them to win at SummerSlam, one thing we can surely bet on is a well contested match. The Usos have given us great matches in their previous encounters with the Shield and there are high chances that they will repeat the same.
4. Christian
Despite heavy performances in RAW and SmackDown last week, Christian still remains one of those wrestlers who do not bring a lot of hope into fans. Except for a few hardcore fans who have seen Christian fight before, there are many who do not know how good he is in the ring.
The fact that he is performing with Alberto Del Rio who is an excellent in-ring worker, will give Christian a greater chance in making this ‘one more match’ worth remembering.
Additionally, the thought of he winning the title and the possibility of an MITB cash-in makes Christian and his match all the more interesting.
