Ziggler tried to prove that he's ready for Goldberg during SmackDown this week

Dolph Ziggler has been poking fun at Hall of Famers for a large part of his career as a heel. He has managed to make a mark more often than not, and seems to be on track to be a future Hall of Famer himself!

One man he has poked fun at and mocked very often is none other than Shawn Michaels. While there was a chance that the Heartbreak Kid would come out of retirement and face the man who has been termed as his imposter for a major part of his career, it’ll be Goldberg who’ll be returning to take on The Showoff.

Ziggler had been taking verbal shots at Goldberg for some time, and also mocked his entrance on SmackDown Live. However, fans are convinced that Goldberg will pick up a quick victory to redeem himself and wipe the bad taste his previous match with The Undertaker left.

But there’s still an iota of a chance that WWE would stun everyone and astonishingly book Ziggler to win. This would only be possible if Goldberg is returning to put a superstar over, and also to give Ziggler one final huge push late into his career.

If Ziggler loses, he’d lose almost all his credibility as his return has seen him lose in regular and championship matches.
