#1 Natalya becomes the red brand leader
Becky Lynch won the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 35 and has since successfully defended the title against many worthy opponents.
At SummerSlam this year she will face a new opponent in the form of The Queen of Hearts Natalya, who won the Number 1 contenders match to earn her spot.
In the past couple of weeks, Natalya has shown a new type of ferocity which we haven’t seen from her in the past. This is something that was missing from her character for some time, and she now seems more complete than she did in the past.
While the odds are in Becky Lynch’s favor, with many fans even expecting Ronda Rousey to return at the conclusion of the match and demand a rematch for her title from Lynch, things could get even more surprising.
What if WWE startles everyone by booking Natalya to pick up a clean win in the submission match? Since Lynch is currently the face of the women’s roster, and also of WWE to some extent, it would send waves across the WWE Universe and Natalya would certainly get a chance to prove her worth late into her career.
