#3 The women ran the show in Toronto
Aside from Evolution last year when the women were given their own pay-per-view, last night's SummerSlam housed the most women's matches in WWE history. Interestingly, the Women's Tag Team Championships were on the line as part of the pre-show, where Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss were able to retain against The IIconics.
Becky Lynch later opened the main show in her Raw Women's Championship defense which was a submission match against Natalya, before Bayley was able to successfully defend her SmackDown Women's Championship in one of her toughest tests to date, as she took on Ember Moon.

The final women's match of the night saw Trish Stratus prove that she still had it in front of her hometown crowd when she went one-on-one with Charlotte Flair in a match that would allow the winner to walk out with bragging rights.
Considering there were 12 matches on the card, this means that the women made up one-third of the action in Toronto last night and for the first time, the WWE Universe is talking about the Women's Division today for all of the right reasons.
