WWE SummerSlam 2019: 5 Interesting stats heading into the event 

#2 Every match at SummerSlam is a singles match

SummerSlam 2014 was the last time that no tag team Championships were defended

SummerSlam this year already has 10 matches official for the card but the interesting fact about this year's show is the fact that all of these matches are one-on-one. WWE has three Tag Team Championships but none of these will be on the line this weekend since The New Day, The OC and Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss have all been given the night out.

The last time that SummerSlam only had singles matches on the card was back in 2014, which interestingly also saw Dolph Ziggler take on The Miz. This is now a match that won't be happening since Ziggler will be taking on Goldberg, but the former World Champion was feuding with Miz five years ago, much like how Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens were feuding back in 2017 and McMahon was the reason Owens lost to AJ Styles.
