Seth Rollins became the new Universal Champion by defeating Brock Lesnar

In the build-up to the Universal Title match at SummerSlam, Seth Rollins suffered brutal assaults at the hands of Brock Lesnar. He entered the match as an underdog with not many odds being in his favour.

The Beast, on the other hand, looked in great shape and dominated the match for most of the evening and looked certain to retain his title but Seth Freakin' Rollins had other plans.

The Architect neatly executed his signature moves and moved as swiftly as ever in the ring, something which gave Brock Lesnar a lot of trouble.

Seth Rollins’ previous victory over Lesnar came via two low blows but that wasn’t the case this time around as the former Shield member defeated Brock Lesnar clean to win back the Universal Championship and most importantly solidify himself as the top guy on Raw.
