#1 Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton (WWE Championship)

The build for this match might not begin until next week, but it seems like Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton is pretty much a certainty for SummerSlam. Both Superstars were scheduled to have WrestleMania rematches against Brock Lesnar and Edge respectively for SummerSlam, but they got canceled.

So by default, Orton might be the one to challenge McIntyre at the 'Biggest Party of the Summer'. The Viper is on an absolute high, following his victory in the "Greatest Wrestling Match Ever" at Backlash against Edge. He is once again the Legend Killer, having taken out the Rated-R Superstar, Christian and presumably the Big Show, during their Unsanctioned Match on tonight's RAW.

Meanwhile, McIntyre has been doing great as the WWE Champion. He just defeated Dolph Ziggler at Extreme Rules, despite a heavy disadvantage going into the match. This is probably the biggest match the company could book for SummerSlam at the moment, aside from Bayley vs. Sasha Banks.

It will be ridiculously tough to call who wins this match, as both Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton are doing excellent work right now. The Scottish Terminator may end up losing his belt to the 13-time WWE World Champion, with the promise of a giant pop when he eventually wins the WWE Championship again.
