One of the biggest matches scheduled for SummerSlam 2021 doesn’t involve any gold. Instead, it is a much-awaited encounter between two incredible superstars who have used their history to craft a brilliant storyline on SmackDown. Seth Rollins cost Edge his opportunity to win the Universal Championship, and The Rated-R Superstar wants his revenge.
Rollins and Edge have been involved in several brutal altercations leading up to SummerSlam. The latter is at his best, while Rollins has brought his Architect gimmick. He even promised that, unlike last time, he wouldn’t hesitate before using a Stomp to end Edge’s career at SummerSlam.

Female superstar says she inspired John Cena turning heel HERE
Although these comments rubbed the Hall of Famer the wrong way, he is still prepared to face Rollins, whom he adorable calls “Edge Lite.”
Remember when Eminem said, “Younger me? No, you the whack me. It's funny, but so true, I'd rather be 80-year-old me than 20-year-old you." It’s something like that from Edge's perspective, but at least, in this case, the one challenging the veteran has an actual credible resume to show. The Rated-R Superstar's WWE return is excellent, but does he really need a victory at the pay-per-view?
On the other hand, Rollins could use the win to get back into the world title picture. He is finally gaining momentum and is undeniably epic as a heel. The title feud between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins is a guaranteed hit, especially if both are top heels. Rollins needs a big win over Edge at The Biggest Party of the Summer to step us as Reigns’ next title challenger.
