WWE SummerSlam 2021 is rumored to have a few marquee matches. One of the most exciting of them is Seth Rollins going one-on-one against WWE Hall of Famer Edge. The build-up to the SummerSlam feud has already begun with Rollins costing Edge his Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns at WWE Money in the Bank 2021.

The Rated-R Superstar and Seth Rollins have some interesting history. Back in 2014, Team Authority lost the Survivor Series match to Team Cena and the Authority lost its power. The stipulation was that only John Cena could reinstate them.

During an episode of RAW in December 2014, Rollins was the guest on the Cutting Edge Peep Show, hosted by Edge and Christian. During the segment, Rollins held Edge hostage, threatening to break his neck if Cena didn't reinstate The Authority. Left with no choice, he reluctantly agreed to his demand.

A few weeks ago on SmackDown, Edge and Seth Rollins had a backstage segment where The Rated-R Superstar claimed that he hasn't forgotten what Rollins did to him seven years ago.

Fans are excited to see this "dream feud" between the two stars and the match at SummerSlam would surely be incredible. WWE could raise the stakes by making it a "Falls Count Anywhere" match. As for the result, Seth Rollins should be the one to go over at SummerSlam.
