SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair is scheduled to defend her title against Sasha Banks in a high-profile match at SummerSlam. However, the two missed multiple house shows recently due to "unforeseen circumstances". PWInsider then reported that there were concerns backstage that the match might not take place at the event.

"PWInsider.com has spoken with several sources inside the company who expressed concern their announced match will not take place at Summerslam this weekend, but there is nothing confirmed in that regard," stated the report.

However, they have now given a new positive update on the status of Banks vs. Belair at The Biggest Party of the Summer. According to this latest report, barring "something unforeseen," the two are cleared to compete at the pay-per-view.
