#3 Kevin Owens gets DQ’d
Over the past couple of years, we’ve seen Owens transform into a seasoned WWE performer. He was already a great wrestler before he arrived, but now he’s conformed to the WWE style of storytelling without compromising what made him unique in the first place. What hasn’t changed is his temperament on TV. Kevin Owens has always been seen to have a short fuse for nonsense, whether babyface or heel. WWE could use this trait to help book the finish to a complex rivalry.
We could see Kevin Owens get so frustrated with Shane’s cowardly antics and constant interference from his lackeys, that Owens just decides he’s better than all this and unleashes hell on Shane McMahon. We could see a low-blow or a merciless beating with a foreign object. Yes, this would be effectively signing his resignation, but what’s to say Stephanie McMahon won’t sign him to the red brand the next night?
