#2 Shane McMahon wins clean
This finish sounds annoying, but it is also incredibly possible. In recent months, Shane McMahon’s heel turn has gone better than expected. Many thought it’d be impossible to dislike Shane at this point in his career having been a babyface upon his epic return. The fans are very fond of the 49-year-old due to his willingness to put his body on the line in every match he has.
However, being presented like the precious son of the boss on an ego trip by abusing his power, has worked perfectly. It’s come across as realistic, due to who he is, and Shane’s antics have made him despicable to the WWE Universe. If WWE really wants to push this Best in the World agenda, a clean win over Kevin Owens would solidify that. Yes, a clean win without any help from either Elias or Drew McIntyre!
