WWE SummerSlam - Updated match card - August 13

Challenger- Daniel Bryan and Champion- John Cena

With the ‘biggest event of the summer’ Summerslam only six days away, the WWE are leaving no stone unturned in making this a grand success.

The event is headlined by WWE Champion John Cena, who is set to battle his toughest opponent in recent times, Daniel Bryan. With Mr. McMahon interfering in proceedings, Triple H has taken it upon himself to personally officiate the match.

World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio is set to face former champion Christian for the title. This match is a make or break match for Christian.

The other star attraction from the event is the ‘Ring of fire’ match between Kane and Bray Wyatt. The Wyatt’s have personally pledged to make Kane’s life a living hell and the ‘big red machine’ will have to deliver a fitting reply in his own playground.

Returning superstar Rob Van Dam won the battle royal on RAW this week to secure a U.S title shot against champion Dean Ambrose. RVD finally has a shot at championship gold after some impressive performances.

The ‘best’ vs the ‘beast’ feud is perhaps the one everyone is anxiously waiting for. Paul Heyman betrayed CM Punk at MITB and aligned himself with client Brock Lesnar. With only redemption in mind, Punk goes into SummerSlam to prove why he is actually ‘the best in the world’.
