#2 Samoa Joe Vs AJ Styles

AJ Styles finally got his revenge in a thrilling encounter

AJ Styles and Samoa Joe followed up their previous two matches with what was, in my opinion, the best WWE title match of 2018 so far.

These guys put on an incredible encounter at Super ShowDown, one that featured an incredible in-ring psychology and some thrilling in-ring action.

Both Joe and Styles are expert story-tellers in the ring, and they both took their A game down under with them this weekend. Joe looked like an absolute beast in the early stages of this match, and Styles finally letting all of his rage out on his nemesis in the closing stages was a joy to watch.

Their exchanges were slick, and both men sold like absolute pros. Styles picking up the submission victory was a great way to draw a line under the feud and the fact that the story of the match was so expertly told meant that Joe didn't come out of it looking weak.
