This week's SmackDown episode witnessed one of the most unexpected returns when Dolph Ziggler returned to beat the heck out of the WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston. Not only did Ziggler brutally assault Kingston, he even cut a very passionate promo to issue a challenge for WWE Super Showdown.

This comeback has stunned the WWE Universe, as no one predicted Dolph's return at this stage. He had been on a hiatus ever since the 2019 Royal Rumble match because of his projects outside WWE.
Nevertheless, the Showoff has completely changed the dynamics of SmackDown Live and it will intriguing to see what happens next week. A title clash between Ziggler and Kingston will definitely happen in Saudi Arabia and here are the 3 reasons Dolph Ziggler should win the WWE championship on 7th June -
#3 Dolph Ziggler deserves it
Let's face it. Dolph Ziggler has been loyal to Vince McMahon despite the fact that he has never been given the respect he deserves. Dolph has always been known as a mid-carder who gets a shot at the WWE title once or twice in a year. Though he has been one of the company's mainstays, he has never had a singles match at WrestleMania till date!

This shows how poorly the WWE Creative team has used Dolph's services. But, now that he is back in the main event picture, WWE should allow him to capture the championship and finally have a great championship reign on the blue brand. This can be the best possible way WWE can pay Ziggler back for his impressive in-ring work.
Also, the Showoff can become the 'B' show's next big heel and elevate the show to a whole new level.
#2 Dolph Ziggler is currently the best possible opponent for Kofi Kingston
If we have a look at the heels on SmackDown Live, we have got Daniel Bryan, Elias, Kevin Owens, Andrade, Lars Sullivan, Randy Orton and Shelton Benjamin. Bryan recently had a stellar reign with the WWE title and his feud with Kofi Kingston had run its course till WrestleMania 35. Elias suffered a 10-seconds loss at the hands of Roman Reigns while Andrade lost to Ali on the recent episode of SmackDown Live.
Kevin Owens failed to overcome Kofi Kingston at Money In The Bank while Randy Orton does not need another title reign at the moment. Lars Sullivan is more interested in Lucha House Party right now, and we do not know where Shelton Benjamin is.

To save Kofi's reign, WWE needs a heel like Ziggler who can not only elevate the WWE Championship but also raise the standard of Kofi Kingston's title reign.
Also, it is always better to see a babyface running behind a title rather than a heel chasing it. Thus, it would be great if Kofi loses his title to the best heel of the division, Dolph Ziggler, and then once again pursues it.
#1 Guarantees the WWE Universe an Extreme Rules match to remember
WWE has always been a company which is focused on its future. After the WWE Super Show Down, we have the Stomping Grounds pay-per-view, followed by the Extreme Rules show. If WWE does not book a title change at WWE Super Showdown, then the feud between Ziggler and Kofi, two of WWE's greatest in-ring technicians, will come to an end.
On the other hand, if Ziggler wins the WWE title, this feud will extend till the Extreme Rules show. WWE can allow the Showoff to win the title in Saudi Arabia, prove his in-ring talent with multiple title defenses on TV followed by a rematch against Kofi Kingston at WWE Stomping Grounds, where the heel will win in an unclean manner.
This will lead to the announcement of an Extreme Rules match between Ziggler and Kofi where the two superstars can tear the house down. WWE can even add Andrade or Ali and give the fans the best Extreme Rules match of the PG era.
