As much as one may lament the fact that The Fiend is no longer the WWE Universal Champion, the truth of the matter is that he is definitely not going to fall down the ranks anytime soon. Whether his next feud is against Hulk Hogan or indeed against someone like John Cena, The Fiend is going to be involved in high-profile situations.
John Cena will be on SmackDown this very week and thus The Fiend and him could get into an altercation in a little more than 24 hours. And honestly, John Cena will be a much better opponent for The Fiend than Goldberg, because Cena can work good matches and long matches too.
There is no way at all that after the time and investment that the company has put into building this character, that The Fiend will fall by the wayside anytime soon. It's just that Goldberg's charm lies in him being bulletproof and he was a victim of the circumstances and the situation.
