The SmackDown Tag Team titles are on the line where the champions The New Day defend against the team of Miz and Morrison. The challengers won a fatal four-way match on SmackDown to become the #1 contenders. Along with this is the WWE Championship bout between Ricochet, who earned his opportunity on Monday, and Brock Lesnar.

We have seen a championship change hands during live events, including championship matches in the UK and Madison Square Garden, but WWE Super ShowDown is neither the place nor is it the right time for the championship to change hands.

The team of Miz and Morrison have just become the #1 contenders, and they need to step up their work before they challenge the champions for the coveted gold at the Grandest Stage of them All.

As fun as title changes are, this is not the right place to have one of the greatest tag teams in the world drop their belts. If they can drag it out, Miz and Morrison should be able to take them off the New Day at WrestleMania.
