#1 Injured Superstar will miss Super Showdown
One WWE Superstar who will not be able to perform at WWE Super Showdown is AJ Styles. The Phenomenal One was in action at the last WWE event in Saudi Arabia, Crown Jewel, where he retained the WWE United States Championship in a title match against Humberto Carrillo.

Styles was injured during the WWE Royal Rumble match. Styles landed awkwardly after taking a Spear from Edge. The injury forced Edge to improvise and he was forced to eliminate Styles early.
In his only comments on the injury since, Styles said that he hoped to return for WrestleMania 36 meaning that he will most likely miss WWE Super Showdown later this month.
This is what WWE.com had to say regarding Styles' injury:
“AJ Styles is out indefinitely with a shoulder injury and is recovering way ahead of doctor’s projections.”
At this point it looks like despite his great recovery, Styles will miss Super Showdown.
