Alberto Del Rio claims CM Punk will return

WWE superstar Alberto Del Rio is confident that his former colleague CM Punk will set foot in the company again sometime in the near future. Mexico’s Greatest Export has stated that Punk will be back in the ring soon but doesn’t know exactly when.

"Yeah, of course. He'll be back soon. I don't know when, but he'll back," said Del Rio.

But Del Rio’s statements are far from convincing as he isn’t the most reliable or closest friend of Punk. But Paul Heyman who certainly is the man who can be relied upon for any news about Punk, claimed sometime back that he was surprised about the fact that Punk had lasted for a longer time than he initially expected.

While statements and rumours have been revolving around, the Chicago native wrestler has been spending his time watching NHL playoffs and baseball games as spotted quite often during the games. He recently married his girlfriend and WWE Diva, AJ Lee sparking rumours that the duo are expecting their first child.

Punk abruptly left the company in February this year. Since then, he has shown no sign or interest of returning to the ring and has stayed far away from all the recent activities in the WWE.
