Amid his ongoing feud with Andrade and Carmelo Hayes, LA Knight is keeping his eyes open for the next challenger for his United States Championship. After winning the title at SummerSlam 2024, The Megastar has become a fighting champion and has defended it successfully on multiple occasions.
Still, LA Knight might not be the United States Champion for a long time and might lose to a WWE Superstar who has been out for months but is expected to return soon. That would be none other than Jimmy Uso.
The 39-year-old star has been out since the fallout episode of SmackDown after WrestleMania XL in April 2024 when he was kicked out of The Bloodline. He was written off WWE programming to recover from injuries, but he is now healthy and ready to return to the ring.
With that in mind, Jimmy Uso could return as a heel and dethrone the reigning United States Champion, setting the stage for a rematch with Jey Uso at Survivor Series: WarGames on November 30, 2024.

On this occasion, the two brothers will collide almost eight months after WrestleMania XL, where the reigning Intercontinental Champion emerged victorious.
This time, though, it would not be just a 'Brother vs. Brother' Match, but we would see the twins face each other in a 'Champion vs. Champion' Match.
WWE Superstar LA Knight engaged in a war of words with Andrade
LA Knight defended his United States Championship against Andrade a couple of weeks ago. Last week, The Megastar's attempt to assault Carmelo Hayes backfired and cost Andrade his match against Melo.
After Friday's incident, the two superstars engaged in a war of words on X/Twitter, with the reigning United States Champion sending a message to the 34-year-old star.
"Don't blame me because you couldn't get the job done… I don't need your respect, but I need you two to finish your business so I can give you both a BFT and move on…YEAH," LA Knight shared.
Andrade remains part of the title picture, but Carmelo has also emerged as a contender following a win on SmackDown. Thus, General Manager Nick Aldis could try to settle this feud by announcing a Triple Threat Match for the United States Championship, where Knight would face both Andrade and Hayes.
