#3 Bobby Roode
Roode won both the United States Championship and the Raw tag team Championship in 2018. He won the vacant United States Championship when he defeated Jinder Mahal on an episode of SmackDown Live and won the Raw tag team Championship alongside Chad Gable on an episode of Raw.

Roode is somewhat a surprise feature on this list given that most will agree he has had a pretty disappointing year. With no real gimmick besides occasionally shouting "glorious", Roode has struggled in a face role and many feel he should revert to the conniving, heelish character he portrayed in NXT.
Roode's US title reign was brief and unmemorable and while his partnership with Roode had some potential, it came about in a very awkward manner, with no real explanation as to why the two superstars had been forced into a tag team.
