Rollins won the Intercontinental Championship twice as well as winning the Raw tag team Championship in 2018, winn. His Intercontinental Championship win came over The Miz and Finn Balor in a triple threat match at WrestleMania 34 and over Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam, whilst his Raw tag team Championship victory came, alongside Dean Ambrose, against Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre on an episode of Raw.

2018 was a stellar year for Seth Rollins and his three different title wins reflect that to some degree. His reigns with the Intercontinental Championships were particularly memorable as Rollins would defend the title on a near-nightly basis in typically high-quality matches. This has set up Rollins to the position he is now in where many feel he is ready to push on up the card and once again enter the main event picture.
