Let’s take a look at a few divas and superstars who managed to win a title in their debut match and becoming one among the lucky chosen ones.
#1 Paige
NXT Women’s Champion Paige made her long awaited debut on the Monday night Raw, April 7th, 2014. Paige interrupted Divas Champion AJ Lee as she was making a WrestleMania 30 victory speech and AJ Lee challenged her for a title match. Paige defeated AJ Lee and became Divas Champion in her debut match.
#2 Gail Kim
Gail Kim made her WWE debut on June 30, 2003 in a battle royal for the Women’s title.Surviving the eliminations, Kim was left alone with Victoria. Gail managed to throw Victoria out of the ring and she won the Women’s title.
#3 Santino Marella
On April 16, 2007 in Italy, Mr. McMahon issued a challenge to anyone in the audience to battle the reigning Intercontinental Champion, Umaga, in a title match. Santino Marella enters the ring from crowd. ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley intervened in the match and helped Marella win the title in his surprising debut match.
#4 Carlito
Carlito made his debut on October 7, 2004 on WWE SmackDown. Carlito defeated John Cena for the WWE United States Championship on his debut match on SmackDown.
#5 Christian
Christian won the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship in his debut match against Taka Michinoku on October 18, 1998, at the Judgment Day: In Your House PPV event.

#6 Big Show
In 1995, in his debut match at WCW, Big show defeated Hulk Hogan defeated Hogan for the WCW world title when Hulk’s manager Jimmy Hart nailed the referee and caused a disqualification.
#7 Ted DiBiase Jr.
Ted DiBiase Jr. made his debut 2006. He challenged Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes, the WWE Tag Team champions at Night of Champions pay-per-view. Shockingly, DiBiase revealed that his partner was Cody Rhodes, who immediately turned against Hardcore Holly and allowed DiBiase to hit his t finisher to win the titles.
#8 Jerry Lynn
Jerry Lynn was hired by WWF in 2001' and made his debut on the April 29, 2001 at the Sunday Night Heat where he defeated Crash Holly for the Light Heavyweight Championship in his debut match.
