The Miz has been one of the most consistent performers in WWE over the past year and has carried SmackDown Live for a number of months following the brand split in the Summer of 2016.
Miz has held the Intercontinental Championship seven times and is the current champion after winning the title back from Dean Ambrose at Extreme Rules in June. It seems that even The Miz will be making history this weekend when he becomes the first WWE superstar to walk into consecutive Survivor Series events with the same Championship.
Miz successfully defended the Intercontinental Championship against Sami Zayn at last year's event after he defeated Dolph Ziggler just days before the show and even though he isn't defending the Championship this year, he still walks into Houston with the title ahead of his match against United States Champion Baron Corbin.
