#4 Can NXT pull off an upset?
While 'brand supremacy' might just sound like a carefully crafted couple of buzzwords in order to solicit interest in one of the company's big four PPVs, it has taken on a whole new meaning with the addition of NXT to the mix.
Furthermore, with NXT just starting to find its footing on television and FOX Sports just beginning to air SmackDown, there is probably an all-time interest in who comes out of Survivor Series on top.
With that being said and NXT firing the first shots in the war of brand supremacy, one can only wonder if the Black and Gold brand is capable of pulling off an upset over RAW and SmackDown, or whether this will just be another case of WWE building them up as underdogs and then decimating them like they did with the Blue brand last year.
If nothing else, WWE needs to keep the score at Survivor Series as close as possible between the three brands and make sure to give fans the payoff they are looking for at the end of the PPV.
That's why the company needs to let NXT get the win at this year's edition of the PPV use that to help build the legitimacy of the brand.
