#1 Could Cain Valesquez interfere in Lesnar versus Mysterio?

That is the biggest question on The WWE Universe's mind after he lost to Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel and one has to wonder when we will see him again. Furthermore, what kind of role will he ultimately play in the overall WWE landscape once he does finally return to television again?
While those questions are somewhat hard to answer, especially after his bewildering loss to Lesnar, it seems very likely that WWE plans to rehash the situation at The Survivor Series pay per view. In fact, between Lesnar versus Mysterio looking like a squash match on paper and Velasquez being close friends with The Luchador, it looks like the company plans to use the former UFC fighter in some capacity.
Why else would they do Mysterio versus Lesnar as the PPV if it wasn't building up to something? Sure, WWE could have their squash match and have Lesnar walk out with the title around his waist again, but what fun would that be? Beyond that, what point does it serve when it comes to the larger narrative?
In all honesty, this looks like WWE is using this match to catch fans off guard and then do something to create a Lesnar versus Velasquez rematch in the future.
