WWE Survivor Series 2019: 5 Potential finishes for women's traditional match - betrayal, shock clean sweep

Which team will gain bragging rights at Survivor Series?

The women of NXT will be part of this weekend's Survivor Series event for the very first time and whilst Women's Champion Shayna Baszler looks to handle business in her match against Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch and SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley, five other women from the roster will be representing the brand as part of the traditional Survivor Series elimination match.

Raw and SmackDown will be wanting some form of revenge against the developmental brand given the way they have invaded the main roster in recent weeks, which means that we could see some form of alliance between the main roster brands in the hopes that they can take out the women of NXT together.

Given the fact that it's an elimination match, the disqualification and count-out rules still apply, which could make for some interesting scenarios if there are three women in the ring at any one time.

#5. Team Raw are victorious

Team Raw has quite a dominant team heading into Survivor Series since Charlotte Flair, Natalya, Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Sarah Logan will be representing the company's flagship show on Sunday night. Charlotte Flair is the most decorated women's wrestler in the history of the company and it appears that she will be the team captain heading into the show so Raw has to be seen as the favorites to come out on top.

The fact that many of the women who are part of this team perhaps won't be able to co-exist could be a huge issue for the women involved, but it's hoped that the women of Monday Night Raw are aware of what is on the line and are able to band together and prove that Raw is the most dominant brand for the women at least.

#4. Team SmackDown gains bragging rights

Team SmackDown has been victorious at Survivor Series before, as last year it was the blue brand who were victorious. Given the move over to FOX and the fact that SmackDown could now be seen as WWE's Flagship show, they definitely have something to prove this weekend and would predictably be the ones who would come out on top.

Sasha Banks, Carmella, Dana Brooke, Lacey Evans, and Nikki Cross will be representing Team SmackDown on Sunday night, and it will be interesting to see if these women are able to do what is needed to come out on top. Lacey Evans has only recently been moved over to SmackDown along with Sasha Banks, Dana Brooke, and Nikki Cross, which means that Carmella is the only woman who was on the SmackDown roster before the draft.

Once again, there are a number of combustible elements on this team as well, since Banks is the captain but none of the team actually respects her. That being said, the pull for WWE to prove that SmackDown is now their A brand could be enough to see the women come out on top.

#3. Betrayal helps NXT pick up the victory

It's interesting to note that every woman in this match aside from Natalya actually came through the NXT setup. Even Natalya has been back to NXT and competed in a number of matches as part of the brand when the promotion was first starting out.

It's hard to see past all of these women wanting to show where they came from and at one point one of them deciding that they want to help NXT pick up the win. If Team Raw are already beaten then it would be interesting if someone like Sasha Banks turned on her new brand to side with NXT.

The women of NXT put WWE on the map and have since been promoted to the main roster, so it would be interesting if they helped the new breed of women to pick up the win on Sunday night. Betrayals have always played a huge part in Survivor Series history so a turn should be expected, especially since many of these women only recently moved brands and have no actual loyalty to their current brand at present.

#2. Teams fail to co-exist

Raw and SmackDown are not the only teams who could have issues co-existing, even though NXT are yet to name their team, it's likely that it will be made up of heels and faces who are not likely to be able to work together as part of a team.

The likes of Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Mia Yim, Candice LeRae and Io Shirai could be the ones who are chosen to represent their brand and once again all of these women have issues and will continue to have issues following War Games.

There is potential for all three teams to combust but at the same time, they may be able to band together for the sake of their brand. It will be interesting to see who cracks under the pressure first and which stars decide to cost other members of their team the victory.

There was a famous incident a few years ago when Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns helped Dean Ambrose who was on Team SmackDown at the time to put AJ Styles through the announce table so there could be room for anyone to join forces this weekend.

#1. Team NXT pick up the shock victory

Will NXT be victorious in their first-ever Survivor Series event?

There have been reports surrounding thsi year's Survivor Series stating that Vince McMahon wouldn't let NXT win because that would be saying that the developmental brand are the best and he isn't ready to make that kind of revelation.

This means that NXT could win a number of matches but not the overall count for the show. Right now NXT is playing the best mind games since they are yet to name their teams for both traditional Survivor Series matches but at the same time, many of their stars will have to compete twice in 24 hours, which means that they could be at a disadvantage.

Not only that, but they will be competing inside War Games, which might be why the teams are yet to be announced since there is a risk of injury on Saturday night at Takeover.

That being said, you have to be in it to win it and since NXT is also part of this match, statistically they have a chance of winning, especially since 99% of the female wrestlers involved were once part of NXT.
