The Raw Vs SmackDown theme has been a success in previous years

The Raw Vs SmackDown brand feud is a tried and tested formula and provided us with one of the best Survivor Series in recent memory last year.

While repeating the exact same formula for the third year running might seem a bit like overkill, the WWE could easily come to the conclusion that, if something isn't broke, then don't fix it.

In terms of current storylines, there is no indication that the WWE is heading in that direction, but with three network specials taking place between now and Survivor Series, there is plenty of time for them to plant the seeds for this year's event.

If the WWE were to go ahead with the Raw Vs SmackDown theme once again, then it would be nice if the company were to put some stakes on the line this year, as the whole theme has been dropped pretty much straight away following the event in previous years.
