What are the WWE's long-term plans with The Shield?

This theme looks like the most likely at the moment. The WWE's continued emphasis on The Shield and the team of The Show and Braun Strowman suggests that the company is building up towards some kind of big stables match at this year's Survivor Series.

Brock Lesnar has just made his return to the WWE, and with rumours of a new Paul Heyman led stable arriving on our TV's soon, it looks as though all the pieces are falling into place quite nicely for Survivor Series.

There are also several other little stables beginning to build on Monday nights, with Constable Corbin having a little team of cronies at his disposal that includes the likes of Kevin Owens and Jinder Mahal, and Drake Maverick partnering up with The Authors of Pain in recent weeks as well.
