So we’re done with yet another episode of Monday Night RAW, and although it wasn’t nearly as good as the past two episodes, this week’s RAW did have its fair share of highs. To start things off, all the contenders (except for RVD of course) of the RAW Money in the Bank ladder match made their way to the ring, and claimed how they would go on to win the ladder match and cash it in to win the WWE title. Also, the WWE champion and the World Heavyweight champion collided on this week’s episode. So what were the major talking points of this week’s RAW? Let’s find out.
5. Return of Jack Swagger
This week on RAW, Antonio Cesaro and Zeb Colter made their way out for Cesaro’s match, but before that, Colter brought out the All American American, his original ‘client’, Jack Swagger. Swagger has been out of action due to an injury, and also because of his judgment regarding his DUI charges a couple of months ago, where he was found guilty. Although Swagger might not face jail time, he was slapped with a heavy fine and community service requirements.

Do I give Swagger the benefit of the doubt, and hope for his push as a main eventer? No. Swagger has thrown away the opportunities he had, and someone else deserves his spot on the roster, and who better to take that spot other than Colter’s newest acquisition, Antonio Cesaro?
4. Randy Orton RKOs Team Hell No
Last week, Orton lost to Daniel Bryan as the latter finally exorcised his demons and proved that he wasn’t the weak link. This week, Orton tried to attack Bryan when Kane came in between during the opening segment of the episode, and Orton dropped Kane with an RKO. After his match with Kane, Orton got upset about Bryan cheating him out of the match and delivered yet another earth shattering RKO to Daniel Bryan.
The feud between Kane-Bryan-Orton has become very interesting in recent weeks, and it will be interesting to see where this leads to. As per the rumors, Bryan is supposed to main event Summerslam with John Cena, and so, it will be fascinating to see how this feud culminates. One has to wonder if Kane will turn on Bryan soon and end Team Hell No for good.
3. Tensions brewing between the Paul Heyman guys
First, Brock Lesnar attacked Punk couple of weeks ago, as the WWE Universe exploded and ever since then, only one question has been on everyone’s mind. Was Heyman responsible for Lesnar’s attack? Last week, Heyman pledged his innocence, saying he had nothing to do with Lesnar blindsiding Punk.
This week, Punk and Axel teamed up to take on the Prime Time Players, and in the end, Axel took advantage of the situation and picked up the pinfall after Punk had done all the hard work. This enraged Punk and Heyman had to intervene to maintain calm between the two Paul Heyman guys. With all the three ‘clients’ of Heyman now getting involved, one has to wonder how things will unfold as we head to the biggest party of the Summer – Summerslam.
2. “They’re coming”
This week, it was finally revealed that the Wyatt Family will be making their RAW debut next week. I’m excited about it, since they’re fresh and interesting characters, and WWE needs that. The Wyatt Family isn’t just about being the ‘bad guys’, but they will add another dimension to the monotonous state in the WWE at the moment.
I can’t wait to see how Bray Wyatt and the other members of the ‘Family’ will be booked, and the internet has already started yearning for a Wyatt Family-Shield feud, which can only make RAW more interesting!
1. Vickie’s Job Evaluation
Next week, it will also be Vickie’s job evaluation, to see if she can fill in the post of a permanent GM on RAW or not. Every character who filled the role of an authority figure on RAW, from the Bischoffs to Laurinaitis’ have been involved in these kind of segments, which honestly takes away the importance of these storylines.
Although, there are talks of Brad Maddox replacing Vickie Guerrero, and this leading to yet another McMahon-Triple H feud. Am I interested? Not really, but since the McMahons were told to make more appearances on the show, they had to come up with something. We’ll have to wait and see how this angle plays out.
