WWE News: WWE Talking Smack recap (December 6th, 2016)

Things did not bode well for The Beauty & The Man Beast on Talking Smack

The New Wyatt Family

Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton and Luke Harper were on the Talking Smack set, alone in the dark. Bray Wyatt began by saying that when they came, they came with promise, and with the objective of bringing down the machine. He said that now it isn't about red and blue, but grey skies.

Bray proceeded to say that now that Orton had joined them, they had become stronger and that the SmackDown Tag Team Championships made them immortal. He then went on to say that it is better to rule in hell than serve in heaven.

Randy Orton then took the mic and said that he used to be known as The Legend Killer, The Viper, The Apex Predator; but now, as a Wyatt, he is more dangerous than he has ever been.

After which Luke Harper took the mic and said that they warned everyone and told them to give what they wanted, or else they'd take it from them. He instructed that if they wanted, they could send anyone, just not the people they wanted back. He then looked at the camera and said "RUN".

Post-theme After the theme song had finished, Renee Young and Daniel Bryan walked in, looking bewildered. When Renee asked what had just happened, Bryan said that they had just gotten "Wyatted".

They began by discussing the issue of James Ellsworth robbing Dean Ambrose of yet another Championship. Bryan said that Ellsworth was incompetent. He admitted that Ellsworth came out with good intentions but due to pure incompetence cost Ambrose the match.Bryan went on to say that Ellsworth is delusional. Renee implied it was Bryan's fault for "holding his hand". Bryan retorted by saying that he tells everyone to “go get ‘em”, which Renee denied.

Bryan said that one of the reasons he made the main event a title match was to give the fans in attendance, a replacement for the cancelled main event - AJ Styles vs. James Ellsworth for the World Championship. He went on to say that he also did so was because he felt The Miz was "prodding" at Dean Ambrose.

Renee asked Bryan how badly he wanted the Intercontinental Championship off of The Miz, and Bryan said that he did not care. He said he felt that the Intercontinental title has been elevated since the brand split more than the United States Championship on Raw, and praised The Miz & Dolph Ziggler for doing so.

Bryan said that his problem with The Miz is him not fighting his own battles. He added that both he and Corbin have been much better off since coming to SmackDown Live.

Carmella:Carmella told Bryan that he never told her to "go get em'" referring to Renee and Bryan's earlier discussion. Bryan said that he probably only says it to guys because he's in the male locker room. Carmella said that she can't stand Natalya lies and added that she should get an Oscar for acting so innocent.

Carmella said that after Survivor Series, she and Natalya were riding back together, and Natalya told her that Nikki forgot her cap back in catering, right before she came out. Carmella said that they knew the order of how they were going to come out, and they all agreed Nikki would come out last since she was the captain.

Carmella said that Natalya knew when Nikki was making her entrance, saw her in catering, and then saw the opportunity to take her out, and then took it. Carmella also asked why she would ever deny attacking Nikki Bella since she was doing that openly after she claimed Nikki "stole her thunder" at Summerslam and always owned up to it.

Carmella said that she was putting her and Nikki's differences aside for the common cause. Carmella said that she liked Natalya but can't stand liars and that Natalya was jealous of Nikki.

Bryan told Carmella that he doesn't know for sure if Carmella is lying. He said that he knew Carmella didn't do it, but he did admit that Natalya looked guilty, when confronted by Nikki Bella earlier in the night.

Carmella said that the truth always comes out and that one way or the other, it will be revealed that Natalya was the one who did it. After Carmella had left, Renee said that she felt the women's division is getting out of control. Bryan said that he just wants to see pure competition.

Renee asked Bryan how proud he was about Alexa and how she's stepped up to the plate. Bryan replied that he was extremely proud of how she used the opportunity and stepped up.

Renee then spoke about AJ Styles putting on a ‘show’ when his pants tore just enough to leave a portion of his behind exposed. Bryan mentioned that AJ Styles did a 450 splash onto a table and all she could talk about was his behind being exposed. He then went on to pull Renee's leg over bringing the hole in AJ's pants up instead of the match itself.

Heath Slater & Rhyno: The former Tag Team Champions spoke about their frustrations on being fighting champions, insisting that they just had a bad day. Slater said that they knew The Wyatt family was dangerous and gave it their all, but it wasn't good enough.

Bryan asked the team where they go now. Slater said they now have to climb the ladder and keep going. Rhyno said he didn't know he was going to be the only one in the ring tonight. Rhyno blamed Slater for the loss. They started to keep score as to who won their matches and when, and Slater was upset that Rhyno kept score.

Rhyno then walked out, and Heath Slater apologised and left as well, to see what was going on with Rhyno bringing the show to a close.
