It’s common news that Titus O’Neil is currently serving a 60-day suspension for playful grabbing WWE CEO Vince McMahon by the arm after the conclusion of Daniel Bryan’s retirement ceremony during RAW. and now, it has emerged, that there’s more to it than meets the eye.
Titus, who was originally suspended for 90 days, is now cooling his heels for 60 days due to the incident which was viewed as unprofessional conduct by WWE. It is rumoured that Vince ordered the suspension in order to make an example of O’Neil to his colleagues, many of whom Vince believes are taking the company’s rules too lightly.
O’Neil explained his actions, stating that he grabbed Vince in order to let Stephanie McMahon exit the stage first as that was the chivalrous thing to do. However, after some time, the wrestler realized that his actions could be misinterpreted by viewers, which is exactly what happened.

According to WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross, Titus was also slapped with a fine in the neighborhood” of $5,000. It remains to be seen how things pan out for O’Neil, who was advised by former WWE star Batista – a close friend of his – to quit WWE.
