This weekend at TLC, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair team up to take on The Kabuki Warriors in a tag team Tables, Ladders and Chairs match for the Women's Tag Team Championships.

Whilst this is the first time the Women's Tag Team Championships have been defended in a stipulated match and the first women's TLC tag team match, it's not the first time the women have competed in this kind of match at TLC.

Just last year three out of the four women in this match competed in TLC's main event. Becky Lynch defended the SmackDown Women's Championship against Asuka and Charlotte Flair in San Jose, California where Asuka was able to come out on top when Ronda Rousey involved herself in the match and cost Becky Lynch her Championship, heading into the Royal Rumble and their subsequent match at WrestleMania.

The women easily stole the show last year and if they are given the chance to main event the show again on Sunday night, then it's easy to see the Women's Tag Team Championships being elevated to a much higher level in the company.
