Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler are not having the best run right now
When the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships were introduced, it was said that the titles could be defended across all the three main shows within WWE. Unfortunately, we have not seen that happen too often, and ever since Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler won the titles they seem to sit firmly on the red brand. The two are now set to put their gold on the line at WWE TLC.

Initially, Lana was supposed to team up with Asuka to avenge the constant beatdown she suffered at Jax's hands. Lana even managed to win a match against Jax, but she was subjected to a brutal attack after that. As a result, Lana was injured and was ruled out of action ahead of the PPV. Now, Asuka is set to come back with a mystery partner at WWE TLC.

There have been speculations about Charlotte Flair returning as Asuka’s partner because the Queen has teased coming back to in-ring action on her social media. In any case, it would make sense creatively to have the WWE Women’s tag team championships change hands at WWE TLC.
Firstly, it will allow both Jax and Baszler to turn against each other and enter a feud. Secondly, it will stir up the competition in the women’s division, and WWE desperately need that to happen.
