We thought that this little touch as much to advance storylines as the matches themselves. Whether it was Carmella talking about Natalya attacking Nikki Bella, or The Miz dedicating his win to Daniel Bryan, it creates more content to advance storylines for the upcoming Smackdown Live episodes. Storytelling is an art that often gets lost in the spot fest modern wrestling scenario, and we’re glad to see that’s not the case with modern day Smackdown.
Perhaps the most interesting post match promo showcased Becky Lynch acting borderline heelish. With rumors and speculations about the same all over the internet, is this a possibility for the future?
