Wrestlinginc.com reports that TNA has re-signed two of their top X-Division talents in Trevor Lee and Rockstar Spud. The duration of their contracts are unknown. Both the superstars have held the X-Division championship at least once in their respective careers with the company so these contract extensions are seen as a good sign for the future of this high-flying division. Spud tweeted the following after the announcement was made official-
Both Superstars join the list of wrestlers who have re-signed with the company in recent weeks. The names who have been given a contract extension include Al Snow, DJ Zema Ion, Rosemary and Abyss. It's notable here that after dealing with a financial crisis for a greater part of this year, TNA finally found a new minority owner in Billy Corgan earlier this month, and are now looking to reinstate some stability inside the company.
If this is a sign, we can expect some more wrestlers to throw their weight behind the flailing promotion, and dare we day some former WWE Superstars? There have been reports of Dixie Carter being interested in them.
