8. Chris Jericho (996)
Chris Jericho has come a long way from his Y2J days for the WWE way back at the turn of the millennium in 1999-2000. He left the franchise in 2005 after winning 7 intercontinental championships and one WWF championship.
He rejoined the business in 2007 and won his 8th Intercontinental Championship by defeating Jeff Hardy. Jericho left the WWE again in 2010 after being punted in the head by Randy Orton in the September 27th episode of RAW. He has since intermittently starred for the WWE appearing for some periods of time each year.
