The big red monster Kane turns 48 today. Kane began his wrestling career in 1992 and accrued a lot of success till today. Kane earned a huge fan base in the WWE and has been the face of fear over the years.His appearance and his in-ring abilities made him ‘The Devil’s favourite Demon’. #5 Kane vs. The Undertaker- WrestleMania 14

This match between the brothers of destruction took place at the fleet centre in Boston, Massachusetts. This Kane vs. The Undertaker match at WrestleMania XIV took place on 29th March 1998. This match gains prominence due to the fact that this was the beginning of the so-called ‘Attitude Era’ in WWE.
The match started with Kane and Taker exchanging blows and Kane took the upper hand with a clothesline. Taker was dropped on the ropes and Kane hit him on the neck and the action continued outside the ring. Kane dropped his brother on the barricade and then on the steel steps. He tried to destroy the spine of the phenom. Kane then took his brother back to the ring and suplexed him and followed it up with a choke slam and covered him but Taker kicked out at 2.
Taker came back into the match with a clothesline and a big boot. He then made a failed attempt to jump onto Kane outside the ring but instead went through the table. Kane took advantage with a high flying clothesline from top rope and followed it up with a Tombstone and covered him again. Taker again kicked out at 2.
The Phenom then came back into the match and went for a Tombstone on Kane and covered him, but Kane survived. He then jumped on to Kane from the top rope and once again delivered a final Tombstone and covered him for the victory.
Taker won the match and went 7-0 at WrestleMania. Kane was irate after the match and delivered a Tombstone to his brother on the steel chairs.
#4 Kane vs. Shane McMahon Survivor Series 2003
This match between Kane and Shane McMahon was an ‘Ambulance match’ that took place at WWE Survivor series in 2003. This PPV took place on November 16, 2003, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Kane secured a hard-fought victory in this match. Shane gave a tough fight and dominated the first half of the match.
Shane was driven into the steel steps by Kane at the start of the match. Shane came back into the match and delivered a ‘Leap of Faith’ on the Spanish announce table. He later drove Kane into a security booth with the help of an SUV. Shane delivered a few Kendo Stick shots to Kane and later put Kane onto a stretcher and tried to pull it into the ambulance.
Kane sat up and was able to stop Shane from pushing him. Shane delivered a ‘Coast-To-Coast’ off the roof of the ambulance on Kane. Kane finally came back into the match and delivered a vicious Tombstone Piledriver to Shane on the floor and threw him into the ambulance and secured the win.
#3 Kane vs. Chris Benoit Bad Blood 2004
This match between Chris Benoit and Kane for the World Heavyweight Championship took place on June 13, 2004, at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The match started with Benoit slapping Kane on the chest numerous times and Kane countered Benoit by tossing him out of the ring. There was some action outside the ring but Benoit sent Kane through the steel post.
Benoit attempted a ‘Cross Face’ on Kane but Kane countered it with a Choke Slam for a two count. Benoit went for another ‘Cross Face’, but Kane fought out of it and Benoit rolled Kane up in a pin to get a three count and successfully retained the title. Kane was brilliant throughout the match but Benoit surprised him in the end and managed to win the fight.
#2 Team Hell-No and Randy Orton vs. The Shield SmackDown 2013
This is a 6 man tag team match that took place on SmackDown. Kane teamed up with his tag team partner Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton and took on the undefeated trio known as ‘The Shield’. This match is the first ever pin fall loss to ‘The Shield’ in WWE. Kane was phenomenal throughout the match and was hugely responsible for the victory.
When the members of the Shield tried to isolate Kane from the match, Kane choke slammed Ambrose outside the ring, near the time keeper’s area. When Reigns tried to spear Kane, he stepped aside and sent Reigns into the barricade. He later pushed Rollins, who tried to jump onto Daniel Bryan, who is in the ring. Randy caught the flying Rollins and delivered an RKO out of nowhere and they pinned Rollins to win the match. Kane was brilliant throughout the match and this was the best performance of Kane in the recent years.
#1 Royal Rumble 2001
The greatest match in the career of Kane was the 2001 edition of the Royal Rumble match. This match took place on January 21, 2001, at the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana. Kane eliminated 11 men in the match, which stood as the record for highest number of Rumble eliminations for 13 long years. Kane entered the match at number 6 and eliminated all men that entered the match between number 7 and 11.
Kane eliminated The Rock during the closing moments of the match and Austin and Kane were the final two. Austin hit Kane with a steel chair thrice and later delivered a stunner to Kane and eliminated him to win the Rumble match. Kane may have lost the match but his 54 minute elegant display in the ring caught the attention of the WWE universe and Kane cemented his spot for glory in the WWE.
