We are just hours away from crowning new Mr. Money in the Bank. While the fans have been excited about what could happen at the show, the rumor mills have been busy. Vince McMahon and his wicked plans for the future were the major topics. If things go according to his plan, Vince is sure to get a lot of heat from the fans.
Elsewhere, the SummerSlam card might witness some drastic changes with respect to Money in the Bank. There were mentions about the future of Bray Wyatt and his family as well. This week’s top rumor analysis takes a look at these rumors and the possible impacts. So take out your thinking hats and start building your own theories about these speculations.
Rusev does not deserve Lana
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
The on-screen relationship between Rusev and Lana is officially over. This is supposed to be the first step of a big push for the Ravishing Russian. Rusev and Lana, however, are still going through sunshine and rainbows in their real life. In what proved to be a shocking speculation, Vince McMahon wants Lana and Rusev to split in real life as well.
According to Wrestling Observer, Vince feels that Rusev does not deserve to have Lana around him. The credibility of the rumor is still up for debate but if it is real, then Vince will get a lot of heat. If the breakup does happen down the lane, then you know who to blame or thank, for that matter.
Wyatt Family getting new members
The defunct faction of Wyatt Family might be getting a new life. There are talks about bringing back the family as a bigger faction. Bray does not have any major angle right now and the same applies for Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. A reunion will do wonders for these wrestlers. Along with these three, Bo Dallas and the Ascension might also get added.
A six men faction will look strong and will be a fresh thing in the programming. The fans are well aware of the leadership skills of Bray Wyatt, so this plan is bound to be successful if it happens. The sooner it happens, the better.
WrestleMania Plans for Hulk Hogan
A match being reserved for Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 32 was in the rumor mills a long time ago. This speculation reached a different level this week. Vince McMahon is planning to have a Hogan match at the granddaddy of them all. And the opponent that Vince found for Hogan is none other than John Cena.
Cena and Hogan are two of the most decorated names in the wrestling business. A match between these two would have drawn if Hogan still had something in him. However, at this point of his career where he could barely move around the ring, a match looks like a distant dream. If Vince is going to waste Cena on Hogan, it will be a big blunder.
Surprise entrant for Money in the Bank match
We already saw the possible future plans that WWE had for Bray Wyatt. However, on the shorter run, Bray might surprise everyone. He is rumored to be the surprise entrant in Sunday’s Money in the Bank match. There is no chance of Bray going out of Money in the Bank with the brief case but his inclusion itself will be a big boost for his career.
Bray has been out of relevance for a long time now and getting a major match will help him. If WWE manage to pull off a Wyatt family reunion at the show, then the fans will be happy as well. Then again, the plan might change.
SummerSlam plans
As things stand now, the plan is to let Roman Reigns win the Money in the Bank briefcase. He would then turn heel on Dean Ambrose on the same night and win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. This will lead to a number one contenders match between Ambrose and Brock Lesnar at Battleground. Which in turn setting up a SummerSlam clash of Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns.
AS far as Seth Rollins is concerned, he will be heading into a feud with the Authority. Triple H is the currently planned opponent for Seth heading to SummerSlam. This plan looks destined to impress and the fans will be happy if WWE chooses this path. A heel Reigns, face Rollins, Triple H in the ring, Lesnar working two pay-per-views, what more could you ask?
